November 27, 2011 Grandma and Grandpa visit

 Is this fun or what?  Chloe and Rex are ecstatic to have someone else around to read to them.

 Saturday we went to Top Pot Doughnuts and heard Casper Baby Pants.  This is me walking out the door running into Jole McHale.  I looked over and said "Hey, it's Jeff Winger (From the TV show Community)."  He said "Did you say winger or winter?"  I thought and said "well, it could be either that you prefer"  It is a made up name after all.

Charlie almost got ran over taking this picture.  

 We went to Jan and Dan's and had a terrific visit.

November 20, 2011 1st ballet

 Rex has been getting so big.  We were driving in the car and Casper Baby Pants are singing and Rex chimes in at the right time "Mice"  With the music.  He is forming more words.

 We had friends over this week.  This is everyone in the tent eating cookies.

 We played outside and raked some of the leaves.  I think the kids favorite part was jumping on the leaves in the trash can so we could fit more.

We made turkey headbands and had fun!

 This week while Mike was gone the kids and I made a shoe shelf.  It feels so good to have things in order!

Chloe started ballet this week.  She loves it! (props to Aunt Marj)

She is the one in the pink.  One of these things is not like the others...

I was out in the hall with other parents cracking up. It is so fun to see her process situations.

This week we also made our thankful tree.  On each leaf is something we are thankful for.  It was fun to make all of us think of such a big gratitude list.

Mike took the kids to Mc Donald's last night while Dri and I were making stuff for Showoffthis.com and Rex wasn't big enough to get to the top.  So, Chloe dragged him up all the steps.  It is fun to see them interact. 

Driving home from Mc Donald's Chloe looked out the window and asked "Is that the new star Hoshmakaka followed?"  From the book the Last Straw.  Then she started talking about the two Jesus' the baby and the grown up Jesus.  It is getting to be that time of year.

So, Mike got me a canning pot for Christmas with the kids.  He told Chloe it was a secret.  So, the first thing she does when I get home is says "Mommy, I have a secret to tell you."  She whispers in my ear, because it's a secret,  "we got you a big black pot for Christmas! Are you so excited?"

Chloe Rex and I went to the H&L market.  Chloe calls it the market.  We were walking out about to cross the parking lot.  Chloe pipes up "When I am older I am going to cross the street by myself, and get married."
