Scott found a super cheap flight to the Canary Islands for Veterans weekend.
He served his mission there and he offered to be in tour guide.

Going full Tourist
This was a museum dive park. It told the story of the migration / enslavement of the local Canary population. I was jazzed about this dive because it has all sorts of structures to explore, but it was a real downer with the whole captivity storyline.
Normally I go diving to get away from civilization, not to explore it's atrocities. It was still worth doing.

Killing time kayaking (can't dive before flying)
Popcorn beach!
Old salt farm
Scott showing off for the ladies.
...still showing off for the ladies.
We did a bus ride to the top of a volcano. The north island has a whole section that was destroyed about 100 years ago. It's still barren.
