Our trip to Utah ended up in a crazy delay in the Paris airport for over 12 hours. It was a rough end and we were so jetlagged.
Looking back on our trip it was so good and beautiful and so hard. Mike was able to go quickly and was able to see Sarah before she passed away and was able to help at the hospital. We were able to have one last conversation with Sarah that was so meaningful. She is an amazing person and I feel so lucky to have her in my life.
She had me speak at her funeral and I was honored and had our trip to Jerusalem where Sarah did a study abroad and we thought of her the whole time. Thinking about where Jesus walked and where Sarah walked it all came full circle.
We came with the intent to be supportive and strengthen family relationships. I am thankful we were able to do that. It was a lovely and heartbreaking trip. We are so thankful for family.

This was our first time being in Utah for Schuyler's birthday. It was so fun and everyone was so great to show up for us. Beka make pancakes and we had cupcakes and bowled.

Coming to Utah it immediately dumped a bunch of snow. We were able to sled with Sarah and Matts family.
