March 26, 2017 Fox, Soccer, date/bonfire night

Ike is REALLY good at fitting in a basket.

 Ta-da, he's out.

These three are adorable.   I love it when they play well together.

Rex has started soccer.  I am pretty sure it is going to overtake my life.

There are times (All the time)  that I realize my sense of humor is that of a 12 year old boy.  I still laugh at Ike saying fox.  I had to make a new movie because the first time when he was saying it over and over he was not covered up.  It is about 17 seconds if you are impatient.

This is my half worn ladder.  It is for the clothes I have worn once, but I am planning on wearing again.  Ike calls it train tracks.

Rex is hanging out with a ton of Germans.  This is him eating an apple with a fork and knife.  They aren't big on finger food here.

Chloe and I went on a mommy daughter date.  We had dinner and went to the play Beauty and the Beast.  A ton of the kids from church were in the production.  It was super cute.

The boys had a camp out.

 Mini-mallow roasting feast.

It was a great time for everyone.

Rex found out that Chloe and I were going out and he hatched a plan to roast marshmallows, and cool either bratwurst or hamburgers outside, have marshmallow and sleep outside in the tent on blow up mattresses.  It was an awesome plan he was completely jazzed about.

Rex drew this picture of himself and his friend playing Mario kart.  His friend has his tongue sticking out while "driving." It made my day.

This is a movie from last week at yabadoo.

This is from last week too.

Mike was making this box a hat and Ike found it hilarious.

Silly Ike with his hands on his face.

Chloe and I got to got a few bike rides this week.  Amazing weather and a cough equals an awesome week.

Ike has been hanging out on Mike shoulders and likes it.  Sometimes he stand on Mikes head.

Nutella face.  He has resorted to licking the container.

 Ant Park.

I love these guys more than anything.  This spring weather has been a dream.

 Play hunting nest.

Ike just kept pointing saying.  Pig, a pig.

The ant park is super awesome.  All the different stations are so fun.

The Horner girls got to hang out with us this weekend.  They are so fun.

Ike is so good at fitting in a basket.

March 11, 2017 Rex's 7th Birthday

Horse

Ike so mad that he balled up like a frog.

The weather has had bouts of beauty.  Chloe and I took advantage and went grocery shopping on our bikes.

 Ike is so funny.

Rex was so happy on his birthday.

We went out for a family walk.

Then we came home for birthday ice-cream.

Ike was super happy we found him dairy free ice-cream.

We got to hang out with Amelia this week.

I am not sure why but I was putting his tummy on the window.

 Rex's party with his friends.

We came home and found the cannibal unicorn.  Ike has been having fun.

We are so thankful for Rex.  He is a joy to have in our family.  How quickly seven has come, but it is a joy to see him learn and grow and expand his massive heart.

March 5, 2017 Strasbourg, Colmar

The artist that made that statue of Liberty is from Colmar France.  They have a replica.

All the kids playing on this glorious day.

We parked right by this beautiful park.

Josiah, Chloe, Ike, Jackson, and Rex on our walk through Colmar.

It could not have been a more beautiful day.

We drove to Strasbourg after Colmar.  Rex picked this yummy spot for dinner and he was so proud of himself.  Cora was not jazzed that Ike was not sharing.  I think at this point they may have just been enemies.

 Strasbourg at night

 The cathedral.

The detail in these old church is amazing.

 Jenny and I.

Josiah and Chloe no one else could be in the picture because the cut-outs were too tall.

Jenny and I stole her boy's hats.

Mike at home not feeling great...poor Mike.

Haut Koenigsbourg Castle.  It was closer to Colmar but we went back because our kids go up so early and we didn't want to wait around for the Science museum to open.

It was so pretty but cold.
