February 26, 2012 Chloe's 4th birthday

Chloe went shopping and this is what she picked for her birthday from Grandma and Grandpa.  She kept saying,  "I picked it."

 For the Princess birthday we started by making our crowns.

 The boys got capes

 The girls got tutus.  Everyone got wands.

 Crown lunch.  In the middle of our lunch the dragon stole our princesses, so we had to go and save them.

We had a map and started our training.

Gathered all the monsters from the door forest.

 We organized them and got them in their cages in the geometric jungle.

 And, had a good time doing it.

 Then we slayed the dragon

 Everyone's expectations were not met.

 Chloe loved and has used every present.  She kept saying thing like: thank you, I love this, this is what I have always wanted etc.

 Cupcakes and ice cream.

 It was a fun party!

Mike showed the kids this movie of the space station and then they went out and saw it.  They could also see Jupiter and Venus.

This week at preschool they did a P day and had a pink pig puppet show. It was very cute. You can check out my page on Facebook to see the video.

Mike, Chloe, and Rex doing "the sun dance" aka sun salutation.  It is funny to hear them ask Mike to do the sun dance.

 Chloe has kept her panties dry forever and now is wearing them to bed.  These figurines are a result of that choice.  I thought it was funny how she lined them up.

last night we had Bella babysit.  Bella told Chloe she could watch Snow White after I left.  Chloe turned to me and said "Mommy can you leave?"  Well I know where I stand.

February 19, 2012 Valentines

 Preschool Valentines party.  Chloe calls it valentimes.

 They decorated boxes and made necklaces, played games, 

  and decorated cupcakes, it was fun.

As a family we made valentines and exchanged them.  Chloe saw me making mine and plead for the one with "adorable eyes."

This week Chloe and Rex were playing.  Rex was up at the counter and Chloe comes in and screams "Rex, you have to come with me," and runs off.

Rex ever so calmly replies "Oh."  Gets down by himself and follows.  Those two are trouble.

This week Rex wanted to watch signing time.  He started singing the song the best he could and signing.  It was funny to see him be persuasive.  

February 12, 2012 Tree's final demise

Chloe kept saying, "I have beaver stuck in my teeth."  We had pork I am not sure where beaver came into the picture but here we are.

We got to play with friends this week.


Rex was loving cashews he disposed of a handful and came back for  more.  It was so odd usually he only eats one or two.  Later Chloe asked, "Why are there peanuts in the fish tank?" 

 Chloe had two birthday parties to go to yesterday...Both birthday boys were Aidan.

She had so much fun at both.

The first was the cutest cat in the hat party.  The second they decorated birdhouses.  Chloe chose the rocket shaped one.  It was awesome. Then she also ended up doing a castle too.  FUN FUN FUN.

February 5, 2012 Grandma Johnson Funeral Trip

We went to Grandma Johnsons funeral.  It was neat to hear everyone talk about how much love she shared and her attitude of life long learning.

Car ride.  14 hours 4 stops and 2 good little kids.

It was so windy.  Chloe said, "mommy hold my hand so I don't blow away."

 Chloe doctored up her own foot and then said "my foot is broken, I cannot walk, I am just like Barry." (Barry is our friend who just had foot surgery.)

 I went to Logan for a few hours and got to see good friends and go to Bluebird. I wish I could have visited longer and more friends. We are sad for everyone we didn't get to see in our few short days.  I love Logan it was such a time of growth and fun in my life.

 We went to McDonald's

 Ruby stubbed her toe.  I gave her a hug and told her to buck-up.  Later as her foot was totally bruised I felt bad.

Nedra gave the kids a bath and I was in there "helping" I turned on the water and didn't see Nedra I quickly fixed my mistake but Nedra got a little wet.
Mike was talking to Rex and asked "did you take a bath with Grandma?"
Then Chloe piped in "NO, Rex took a bath with me.  Mom turned on the water and got Grandma wet."
She TOTALLY ratted me out.
