We just celebrated Schuyler's birthday. She would have been four. It is hard to process her absence in our daily lives. I know being her mom changed me, in a second, for the better. Her absence and shaped me as well. She has taught me to love more and deeper. She has taught me a lot about being sad and imperfect. She has taught me that love trumps all. As we love one another an trade doubts fears and hate for love forgiveness and charity our lives change, our world changes, and our hears change. I know this time on earth is about us learning more about our maker and this process to return to him. I am thankful for the atonement and learn more about it every day. I hope everyone in my life knows how much I love them and I thankful for the love they share with me.
SNOWMAN! Ike is obsessed with snowmen right now. We have a book about them, and have read it many, many times. He wouldn't let us close the windows because he wanted to see it even thought it is pitch black at night.
The only other thing Ike will eat beside milk is nutella.
Dri is loved.
Ike kept crawling on her back and peeking over her shoulder.
I made horn gestures and Ike and dri chimed in. It has been so much fun having dri in our day to day lives. We had a great visit. We have been missing her so much it was magical having her around again. When we got home ike keeps calling for her. She is missed when she is gone and we love it when she is here.
