December 23, 2012 Snow and visitors

We got snow this week.  The first thing the kids did was throw snowballs.

Rex was spinning and let his cars go,  Chloe's response "You freak me out Rex."

Rex will go to the bathroom at night and then sleep on the bathroom floor.

December 16, 2012 Christmas party/ Mallow men

The kids piled up all their bedding when Mike came home from work and loved him to death.

Mike had his work party.  I was telling Chloe we were going to kid-nap Dad after the party and take him home with us.  Chloe was so excited by the thought.   As soon as we saw him Chloe informed him we were going to "baby-take" him.

In Costco Rex started to state "there is a Pirate, a pirate right over there!"  We looked around and saw a guy in an eye patch.  Luckily he was clear across the store.

Serious business

We went and visited Dri and the kids attacked me with her Christmas birds.

The have really sharp feet that hurt.

Rex smoking his candy?

Chloe was playing on the side of the tub and had one duck saying to the other rubber duck "It isn't fair to me or your dad, you need to pay your taxes to your Grandma,"  in a very stern voice.

In the library they have puppets.  Mike had an alligator and Chloe had a giraffe.  Mike starts saying he is hungry and needs to eat the giraffe.  Chloe then declines and tells him he can eat the "ugly children." I am unsure where she gets this stuff, but yikes.

Rex begging for a work shirt

We had friends and Dri for dinner Sunday and had so much fun!

December 9, 2012 Ballet visitor week

For our Christmas countdown robots we made a Nativity.  Chloe hard at work.

 Can you tell Rex's addition?

These apples are bigger than the kids heads.

Dri's library in Newcastle opened this weekend.  We got a sneak peek and coerced Dri into reading a hideous rendition of the princess and the pea.

Chloe's Christmas song.  You can only hear it because it was dark, but it's enough.

Chloe is meowing at Mike with her cat and said "she likes you because you're so handsome."
Rex curled up on Mike this week and would not let him be inches away.

This is the freezer box that the kids have had a blast with this week.  The fill it up with stuffed animals and then cannot get out.  It is awesome.  I love boxes.

This week was Chloe's visitor week at ballet.  They asked her what color she'd like to be and she declared "I am going to be everything, I am going to be the earth and white and Christmas trees."

I am pretty sure Chloe thinks dancing=spinning.  It works.

 CJ's first birthday
Rex had a runny nose this week.  I announced I am going to get a tissue.  Rex sniffed up his snot, and replied "I got it."

Dri was so kind and hung out with teh kids one night this week.  They made cards for our Christmas advent activity.

Here are Chloe's:

Chloe's cards had a theme...baby.  This particular card she stamped the little snowmen and the big snowman happened right on top.  Dri pointed it out and Chloe was very excited because now her snow-woman was expecting.
This is the snowman with the snowbaby...you get the drift.

Here are Rex's:
He was more partial to the holly without the leaves.
