March 31, 2013 Easter /MJ visit

Rachelle was so sweet and watched the kids so Mike and I could have a date.  We walked around the golf course.  It was crazy pretty.

The next day Chloe told me:
You are nice mom but not as nice as Rachelle,
she lets me sleep with the light on.
Chloe the wolverine.

Chloe felt like Mike had a rough patch of skin on his neck.  She decided it was eczema and applied lotion.  Mike hating lotion protested but Chloe was adamant that it had to be done!

Pool time.  We need to get new flip flops for Rex because his are too small.  This was the solution until we found some.

At the pool Rex wouldn't let Kade get more than a step away.  Another boy would try to get close and Rex would push him away and say "My Kade!"

Rex was so tired when we were done swimming.  He got the chocolate from his granola bar everywhere.

We were hanging out in the living room and Rex asked me to sit next to him.  I tried to sit on a stool but that wasn't good enough.  He made me sit on the ground and then was positioning  me to get me where he wanted.  Then he made me give him a foot ride.
Chloe put some bread in the new microwave I helped her turn it on.  She told me she was going to watch it so it didn't burn and get black.

For preschool we made these little bees.  I particularly love Reagan's  She said it was angry because it got stepped on.

 Planting the plants

 Eating the grass treats

 The cute spring treat.

How many kids can you fit in a wagon?

I loved Grace snuggling her baby.

ok so the chicks are cute with the kids.

But the chicks are in the awkward teen phase where they aren't fully formed but aren't cute and fuzzy anymore.

 Park day!

Rex and I were playing sneaky squirrel and he had a stump for his cat and was making his cat spin and play too.  We'd hate to leave cat out.

Cecilia sent books for the kids.  They were a hit

This is the bamboo after we cut it down before we dug it all out.

This is after we dug it all out.  Marj and I were animals.

These are the roots.  The trailer is 8 feet wide.

This is the shovel I broke.  We broke two.

Easter...I am unsure what this face is but he was happy.

This is the yummy nest breakfast Mike made.

These were our carrots filled with a candy bar for the people who didn't get baskets.

 The egg hunt

I did a egg hunt centered around Christ and the resurrection.  So in each egg was something that reminded us about what happened from the betrayal of Christ to the resurrection. Chloe told me next time to put candy in them.  That would be better.

 Two fun gals

 Easter at the Park

 It was a beautiful day.

Echo

 The random accordion guy.

It was a beautiful day to reflect on the Savior and his atoning sacrifice.  It feels more pertinet knowing his sacrifice enables our family to live together forever again.
