June 24, 2012 It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a Johnson

Well you can see what kind of drivers are around this place... We started out this week at the Barretts and had so much fun. Rex had a blast playing foot ball with all the boys and Chloe loved all the fun toys and cousins to play with.

Mt. Rainier We went to base and watched the airplanes take off and land. They were practicing so we got to see a lot of take off and landings. It is a shame you cannot take pictures.

Next week I am leading book club. We went to the library to find some supplemental books. I was looking for a specific book and couldn't remember the title. On a whim I asked Chloe if she remembered the book with the dog that got all the colorful stains on it? We did read it months ago. With out skipping a beat she replied, "Dogs colorful day." If I asked she probably could have told me the author. Her elephant brain paid off.

Today in church Rex saw Chloe's underwear and in his regular tone said "I want to wear Lightning McQueen underwear."

Holly told Chloe that she was going to China. Chloe told Holly that Daddy gets his tablets from China, there is a big rock wall there and a lot of people.

We heard animal sounds in the house so we went on a trip to the zoo. We found the cutest birds!

This week Chloe decided she wanted to be a dentist. Then she was thinking about things and Mike could tell she was struggling, and he asked what was up. She was struggling with wanting to be a dentist and a mommy until mike informed her she could be both. She was very relieved.

This is Chloe's "Hair hair" She insisted she take it camping on the daddy daughter camp out. Mike didn't take any pictures so you will have to imagine Chloe jumping and swimming in the lake with all the other girls. And everyone have a terrific time.

Rex and I visited Aunt Dri and had a very productive weekend.

Pickes and more stuff that I don't like. Chicken too.

He came home from work

Super tall. He's taller than Aidan's dad

It's messed up

He works!

Have fun

How long have you known Daddy?

For a lot of years.

We had an excellent Father's day. We had church, presents, and dinner with the Barrett's. Chloe was so excited she said "I want to see my cousin with the batman toy."

Today we were driving home from Bellingham and Chloe exclaims "I need to go potty!" We are in traffic and there isn't an exit in sight. I encouraged Mike to just pull over, had Chloe jump out, used her blanket as a shield, and had her do her business. Chloe gets back into the car and proudly declared "Daddy, I got to pee in the weeds. When there isn't a bathroom you can pee in the grass."
