April 29, 2012

Jamie called me this week to tell me Seth's pacifier was left at our house.

I quickly came up with the plan to meet at 5 guys for dinner.  YUM!  Rex ate almost his whole hamburger.  He has to be growing.

Fun at the Rosengrins.  Rex wasn't too jazzed because he wanted me not Chloe to push him.  However, you still get the idea.

This week we also went swimming at the pool near our house at the high school.

Chloe loved it more than Rex but I am sure that was because Rex's lips were chattering and didn't have the pink noodle tied around his waist so he could go where ever he wanted.

While there Mike went off the diving board.  Then Mike asked Rex if he wanted to see him go again?  Rex explained that he didn't want Mike to go he wanted Me to go jump off a board into the water.

 Gross Motor skill class

I just like it when Rex says Eaglets.   There is webcam on an eagle nest and they have three little eaglets.

Rex sweet talked Chloe into sharing all the dried strawberries from her fruit pack.

 Hula hoop

Showing off the dance moves for Dri

Getting ready for the elders quorum party

This little guy smiles and says cheese every time a camera comes out.

BUBBLES!  This was the most fun at the party.

April 22, 2012

Reminiscent of another little person singing this song.  He is getting so big and picking up on everything Chloe is doing.

We walked into our friends house that has twins and Rex points and says "One baby, two baby"  Laughs and runs off.

This week my friend Christie and I canned...

A lot!  Every surface and made up surface was covered in cans.

Rex with his two orange jelly beans.  He LOVES orange and red.

I love this girl her smile is so CUTE!

 Two peas

 in a pod.

At gross motor skill class they had fun shaving cream play. On our way there it was a crazy day and we didn't have time to run home so we were eating out.  Chloe asked "Can we got to Old McDonalds?  I like that play place."

At preschool we did Z and 16.  They are putting 16 stripes on their zebra's

Here are the 16 animals and cages for the zoo we made.

Bubble fun.

Chloe has been intertwining her toes and saying "look they're hugging, my toes are hugging"

Another funny Chloe story:
In Costco Chloe has her hand down the back of her pants. I ask "Is your underwear bugging you?"
she says "No, I don't have underwear," then pulls down her pants and sure enough she is going commando. She stick out her cheek and says "see?"

We finally had a nice day and had some friends over for a BBQ.

 Rex kept tackling Elizabeth.

 The bubbles were enjoyed

We all had fun.  Kevin was the king of the kids and took them for ostrich rides and played lots of games.  The girls wouldn't give him a moments peace.

Reading today Rex grabbed one of the books and pointed to the Caldecott honor award seal and said, "A penny."

Yesterday Chloe had a scrape on her hand and asked mike "To give her the priesthood." ( a blessing.)  Mike had her sing a song and say a prayer first, and in the meantime Rex kept coming up to Chloe and putting his hands on her head.  That boys has things figured out.
I hear Rex crying and Chloe runs in and proclaims " I didn't hurt him."  A little too innocently.  I inquired "well, why is he crying."  Then Chloe replies a little sheepishly "Well,  I did put him in my princess box and shut him in."

April 15, 2012 Easter

On Easter Rex was sick so we had to miss Seth's blessing.
We had our own egg hunt. Rex was too sick to participate.

Loot

 Sad sick Rex.

 Umbrella ding.
(equivalent to cheers.)

This is the one picture of us dying eggs.

Woodland Park Zoo

Seth is so small!

In the next few pictures the quotes are from Chloe, the rest I extrapolated.
Mom how do you spell love?  I tell Chloe, she writes it, and then points to each letter and says "In my name, in my name, not in my name, in my name."

This is where she decides her smile needs a nose.

Oh ho ho, that is so cute.

 I am pleased with that.

Chloe adds, "Now this smile needs hair be-tause (because)  it's a girl."

 Te-he I like hair.

That ittly little bit is all she needs.

Now she is no longer unisex.

 Yes it looks good

But do you think it needs a little more?

 Maybe right there.

 Oh yes.

It is cute just like me.

 Hummm

Well, I think I'm finished with my work of art.

Rex chucked his baby to the floor then told me to be quiet because his baby was sleeping  He kept saying/signing,  "shhh, baby, sleep" repeatedly.

I am leaving to Dri's for a night and Chloe runs to me yelling, "Mommy, mommy, you forgot something." Chloe pretends to grab by her chest and holds out her hands and says, "a piece of my heart."
