April 8, 2012 Mike's Visit to Korea

Over the last week I was in Korea for work and spend most of the evenings doing the tourist things.  It was LEGEND...wait for it...DARY!

We went to the national palace and saw these actors pretending to be warriors.
I really was scared they were going to stab me for getting too close.

One of these guys had a hard time keeping a straight face.   It was funny to watch.

What's a trip to Korea without visiting the Electronics Market?

And then visiting the electronics market again...

And then eating chicken on a stick while visiting the electronics market.
I love this country!
(if you didn't notice, we visited the electronics market every day)

Major Woo, where are we going again?

We found dumplings of succulent joy.
I did I mention it was all you can eat?

This river was cool, right in the middle of the city.  Because it was 20 feet down,
you couldn't hear the traffic and it really felt like a peaceful place.

The Korean War monument.

Korean War Museum.

Our last dinner...in Korea.  Mmmm, yummy pork ribs.

Why not top the meal off with Pork Bellies (aka Bacon Stake).
Cook 'em up Ed.
