November 24, 2013 Volcano, robots, cat, squirrel, and owls

 The kids have loved these shapes. Rex puts things together and calls them his robots.

 Chloe brought this picture home.  She drew and had Reagan filled in the words.  Chloe is getting bit on the stomach by one of her classmates, Eric.  She has tears coming down her face and her teacher, Mrs. Culver is intervening,"Hay, kids stop that.  She looks like shes in pain."

Chloe asked me for makeup.  I gave her some blush but she wanted some mascara. I told her her eyelashes were so beautiful and when the light reflects off of them they shine different colors like red and brown and blonde, they are so pretty we don't want to cover them up.  Later I found her looking in the mirror fluttering her eyes.  I know she thinks she's pretty, as she should.

 I played sneaky squirrel with Rex and hoot owl hoot with Chloe simultaneously. It is better.

 Chloe is getting so creative with Legos.

Chloe's cat lost it's tail and she asked me to fix it. When I returned her cat she was so glad and praised, "Mommy, you did such a nice job!  I can't even see any strings.  It looks a lot better than I thought."

 Playing at the park is beautiful but cold.

 Cecilia made Chloe this Fairy village and Chloe and Rex are in love.  They love the jewels.

 Rex made a volcano coming from the sun, green grass, yellow fire, dots of his friends houses, his baby turkey, and blue water.

November 17, 2013 A unicorn and a puppy.

 Ff week at preschool

Fishing for letters and numbers for our review 

 We made frogs

 and had races.

We talked about farms and did a puppet show.  We did the little red hen, but I didn't have a red hen puppet so we did a little lamb. The big show.

 Chloe told me I was one of the confused people and I should go and watch the news.

 Our friends manage apartments.  Mike found their ad of craigslist and wrote a replay that went along the lines of:  I am interested in your three bedroom apartment, but I have a puppy and a unicorn is that ok?

We didn't hear anything until Mike prompted Jason of his actions.  Vangie read the reply and said, "see that is why I don't read those things only wackos reply." 

Jason looked at Vangie and inquired "Who was it from?"  

Vangie blew it off,  "Some guy named Mike Johnson."

  Jason looked at Vangie and said, "like Mike Johnson."  

Vangie defended there are a lot of Mike Johnsons, that came from our Mike Johnson?

Thanks Vangie for not thinking Mike is so creepy with his unicorn and puppy, you're a true friend.  

 Before we went to the zoo Rex told me we were going to go with Reagan and Elizabeth...Well we ran into them at the zoo.  It was so fun.

Rex has been pretending imaginative games lately.  He has built a freeze ray out of Legos and freezes me all the time. He got a balloon from a birthday party and did this thing where he flips it off the back of his legs turns around points his Legos and says freeze ray, you're frozen. HAHAA! (maniacal laugh)

There is a person we love that will leave a little of their drink with out finishing.

 Chloe found said drink this morning and said, "OOOOO leftovers." She had a pink mustache all day.

Oat meal we skipped the mustache and went to beard.

 Chloe drew a picture of our family in the day, and night time.

November 10, 2013 Bowling, Dri's return

 First time bowling.

Me- Chloe, do those shoes fit?

Chloe- Yes, but they also stink.  

 The whole night was like this chaos but fun.

 NOT AGAIN!  Rex burnt oatmeal in the microwave, at least it wasn't as bad and I was able to save the microwave this time.

Gymnastics 

 One night this week Chloe had an epic fit.  After being sent to her room it went a little some thing like this:

Mommy, Daddy get in her now! AAAAAAGH. I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME.  IF YOU DON'T GET IN HERE RIGHT NOW AND BRING ME DESSERT I'M GOING TO RUN AWAY, AND IN THE MORNING WHEN I WAKE UP I'M GOING TO RUN AWAY. THEN WHEN I COME HOME YOUR GOING TO APOLOGIZE!!! AAAARGH! YOU THREE COME IN HERE RIGHT NOW!

Epic. Luckily we were able to diffuse the situation and head off the running away part.

 Chloe helped me out with Young Womens.

 Rex was so pleased he kept making it so I couldn't get a good picture of his new shirt.

 He covered his space shuttle with his other space shuttle.
