September 30, 2012 zoo, nw trek, and canning

 We were able to have a fun park day with some of our friends.  The kids love to play.

This week we picked apples off our tree and I canned apple sauce.  Then Dri came down later this week and we canned peaches.  I am almost ready to live off the grid.

 Me: What am I going to do for the people I visit teach?  I need to do something.  

Chloe: Well you could make them a baloney sandwich.

Me:  Where did you learn about baloney sandwiches?

Chloe: Well, Goofy loves baloney sandwiches.

 We went to the Zoo with the Pearsons.

 Chloe has been pretending her ukulele is a violin lately.

 At preschool this week I prepared a measuring day.  We had so much fun and lined up in height order.

The Box's invited us to the Northwest Trek we had so much fun and got to spend a lot of family time.

On our tram ride there are three cars.  Our driver announced I can see a little hand our the window in car two.  We were in car two. I asked, "Chloe was that your hand hanging out the window?"  
She replied "Mommy, I don't have a little hand I have a big girl hand!"

September 23, 2012 Tex@$$

 1st Music Monday.  Rex loved his shaker.  We had all the kids singing the wise-man built his house upon the rock while shaking.

 We went to Texas while Mike was in Guam.  The kids were so excited to see all the airplanes.

 Look at her take that burger down.

 Rex fell in the airport right into the metal handlebar on the chair and chipped his tooth.  Sad.

Every flight the kids immediately studied the safety flight pamphlets. 

 Rex was so good and took a nap. He said "I tired"  I told him to snuggle up and lay down he did and slept almost our whole second fight.

 Chloe kept herself busy.

Chloe:  Yes, I a girl and girls are womans.

 Playing at the Horners.  Rex was putting the cars in the bus.  The best part of the trip was hanging out with all of our friends.

 The show.  It was cool they had divers and a number of different whales, dolphins, and exotic birds doing cool moves.

 It was so neat we saw this diver feeding the sting rays.

 He was so interactive with all the kids.

 He would swim the feeder fish in front of the kids and get the sting rays to come and then feed them

 Chloe was so excited to go on the boat rides.  The kids were so tired, so I told her we weren't going to go.  She didn't wine or anything and just said "But Mom, I really wanted to go."  So we did...and they were so tire.

We had so much fun in Texas.  We got to see the Horners, the Allens and the Wilsons. Good trip and good fun.

 On the way home Rex was feeding and watering his Cat.

 Re-reading the safety pamphlets.  Rex slept on our first flight.  They did so well.

Chloe:I'm not a good cooker so I should be a teacher.
Me:What?
Choe: I'm not a very good cooker so I don't thinking I should get married but I should be a teacher.  I don't what to get married because I don't know how to cook. 
Mike:You don't have to cook to get married, or get married unless you want to.
Chloe: But the boys are going to want to marry me.
Where does she get this stuff???

 When we got home Mike dressed up the kids for talk like a pirate day and went and got doughnuts with the kids.

 Argh!

 Mike took the kids camping.  I guess on the way Chloe said, "I don't want my spirit to leave my body, because I'm afraid it doesn't have any clothes and I'' be naked in heaven."

The other day Rex was jumping around. I said, "hey jumper"

 Rex replied, "I not a jumper I Rex."
