April 20, 2014 Easter

Rex came home from church with this picture last week.  I asked who all the people were.  He enthusiastically pointed and said: (right to left)This is you mommy, daddy, chloe, Rex, Grandma, Grandpa, Schuyler and Ike. I love how he signed his name with the RE in the corner and the X below

Mike went to VA this week.

After swimming we went on errands and got dinner.  Rex ate that entire piece of pizza on his own.

Mom do I look homelss?  Chloe asked on our way to the dr. She and Rex were both sick and got antibiotics.  I was just sick.  We'll see if we can kick this cold this time around with antibiotics.

Chloe drew a nativity scene.  Mary, Joseph, donkey, baby Jesus, Christmas tree, the new star and the night sky.  She has aspirations to leave it up until Christmas.

Rex thought employing the hole in his hat like this was the best use.

Rex indignantly:"Will you buy me owl pants?  You should have bought me owl pants!"
Me defensively:" I don't even know where you buy owl pants!
Rex superior tone:"I know where you can buy them, at the owl pants store!"
The duh was implied.

All week Chloe and Rex have been pretending to be cats left on our door step. Chloe's name is Pearl, Rex's name is Rainbow....Yeah.
