 Cape Flattery hike

Rex loved all the little paths.  He told me he loved to hike with me and wanted to hold my hand all day.  It was so endearing.

 Cape flattery.

Can you believe the beautiful November day?

 Cool caves

I can see the light house.

 Hall of Mosses hike.

 We are under a log.

 Skipping through the moss.

The moss covered trees looked like monsters.  It was so cool.

Squirrel

 Two squirrels.

I'm a little squirrel squirrel squirrel, coming from a hole hole hole.  Rex sang this lovely song while pretending to be a squirrel coming out of a tree.

The best time to go is in the winter when all the leaves are gone and the moss can thrive.

 Large trees.

 Large trees that have fallen.

Giving the yeti a high five.

 Beach logs kill.

Kalaloch campground has the coolest tree where the roots have been exposed and now it is sagging, but holding up well considering.

 Buddies collecting sea stuff.

 Rex loves tree holes.
This is a Large cedar tree.  You can pull off the road and check out.

 Big cedar tree.

 Ruby beach.

It dumped on us and then it was beautiful and sunny.

It was an amazing trip and we feel so luck to live in the Pacific North West!

It was a little tricky we were out of cell phone reception for the majority of the time, so it was a little tricky to get the news that Mike's sweet grandma has passed away.  She was a sweet lady and we are glad we get to be a part of her family.

 Nana has come to visit.

We are so excited.

  1. Sorry to hear about Mikes Gma. But on a happy not cape flattery is beautiful. There are so many places I wish we could have seen before we left.
