September 11, 2016 First day of School, Nana visit. Heidelberg and Rothenberg

Chloe on the first day of third grade.

Rex on the first day of first grade.

He was so proud of his backpack and schultüte.

Ike, Luna, Vaughan, and Rex.

 The church ceremony before school.

At the school chloe's teacher let her come watch the performance for the incoming first graders.

Rex got this penguin he has wanted for months.  He said the best days of his life were the day he was born and the day he got his schultüte.

Chloe got a little schultüte to celebrate her first full year in German School.

Second day of school for Rex third for Chloe and Rex is back to tall taco dino socks and shorts.

Ike and I missing Chex while they are at school.

Chloe has wanted to make an art project with the coins we got from Iceland.

We got the kids tablets that we took to Iceland.  Rex said "Even those these tablets were many dollars it is worth it because we freakin' love them!"

 Nana came to visit.

Ike was eating a pop-sickle and dropped the last bite.  I offered it to him.  He declined so I ate it and he got angry.

He calmed down and then got mad four times.  It was sad/funny.
SO ANGRY!

Mike went to Switzerland and hiked.

 Made new friends.

 Saw the beauty.

 Ike is crazy.

 Heidelberg

Art at the bottom of the castle.

Riding the train up to the Heidelberg castle.

Heidelberg castle was kind of crumbly and half put together and preserved.

 The view was awesome.

 The company was great.

 love that bridge.

That is a lot of alcohol.

 Cool doors.

 Awesome fountains.

 Pretty gardens.

On the way home from the castle was a great walk.

Rex came home with this reminder he needed to bring his schultüte back for pictures.

Rex and Chloe started bobbing for apples on their own.

Jamie sent the kids Pokemon cards.  The kids were overjoyed.

Mom found me a bag she insisted I should get.

Rothenberg we walked around the city wall.  Chloe loved the horses.

 Eis.

Rothenberg fountain in the main square.

Ike loved the fountain and wanted to go swimming.

Ike and I waiting for the rest of the family to get out of the Christmas museum, aka Christmas shop.
