December 17, 2017 Counting, crafts, and surgery

Chloe was an angel in the church nativity.

Rex was a cow, and then ended up being a shepherd but we weren't there and my friend only got one picture.

Rex made me a treasure hunt.  It started in the microwave, the stairs, rex's room,  and then very I heart you mom note.

Cowboy and Octopus.

Let's count?

We made snowflakes for family home evening.

My kids are sometimes OCD and I love it.  Rex is awesome.

At preschool we made salt dough ornaments.

Ike was into it.

Our tree took a dive this week...twice.

My friend had me over for brunch.  Look how fun and festive.

We had a snowball fight at our preschool Christmas Party.

Ike got his tonsils and adenoids out this week.  He woke up super mad, but this was the least mad picture I had.

Recovery,

I will take some juice.

Yum.

As a family we painted the ornaments we made in preschool  Chloe painted that gingerbread man all on her own.   I painted the boring gingerbread man and the tannenbaum.  It was so fun.

December 10, 2017 fish, fashon show, Vienna.

Fish day for preschool.

Chloe made this skirt
They did an activity day fashion show.

Rex returned my note personalized.  I was really feeling the love.

Ike hurt his head.

We went to Vienna with friends.

Sachertorte.  It is a famous cake that was made to feed royalty back in the day and has an apricot middle.  It was really good, but that bite that is gone was all I could eat because I haven't been eating sugar and it put me in a sugar coma.

The Rathaus.

The Christmas market

Could you imagine having a building on your head like this?

I sometimes love the floors more than the art on the walls.

That is one fierce lion.

I was laughing at the fish food picture.

We went to go see Schonbrunn later that day.

Natural history museum.

That is a piece of gold.

Gems.

Seriously love Karen.

We got these bratwurst in a bun that Karen used to get when she was a student in Vienna twenty years ago.

Schonbrunn

The back yard of the palace.

All of us enjoying the backyard.

St Stephens Cathedral  built in the 12th century, almost 1000 years ago.

Look at those columns.

Look at the size of that cake.  Karen could barely fit it in her mouth.

Christmas market.

The Rathaus again.

Thai food for dinner.

Silly mike in the elevator.

Stop signs have butterflies in their tummies.

Sunday Mass with the Vienna Boys Choir

Imperial Palace Royal apartments.

Fancy napkin folding.

Fancy flatware.

The horses have earmuffs it is so cold!

In line to get strudel,  and we found this grumpy totem pole carvings.

Yum.

More yummy strudel.

Walkers in love.

Flying home mike looked like a robber stealing my purse.
