January 22, 2012 Snow/Ice week

We have had quite a week.  Mike went to work Tuesday and that was it. We have been hunkered home and loving it.  

1-fun

2-shelves built in the movable wall

3-hard drive installed

4- pillows sewn

5- tree mostly cut up

6-birthday fun

Rex was begging for popcorn.  He signed it and said it over and over until he got some.  I got to hand it to him, he is adamant.

 Mike and Chloe were getting ready to play in the snow.  Rex didn't want to go...until he realized he was going to be left behind.  This was the compromise.

Worst birthday present ever!

 Our huge cherry tree was taken down like a banna in this ice storm. The insult to injury is how hard it is to cut up and move this gigantic heavy tree when we want it back and alive.

 Sad.

 Chloe getting warm with the corn bag that Lindsey gave me for Christmas years ago.  Every time she uses it she says, "may I use your corn bag that lindsey gave you for Christmas (tristmas)?"

 We went to dri's this week for my birthday and had an orange celebration. We had the best meat loaf ever and decorated cupcakes with orange items.

After cutting down the tree this weekend we were tired.
