Braids. 

 Chloe expressed a desire to install two escalators in our house. After discussing the idea she wanted one in the hall and one going to the mailbox as well. Then she decided she wanted to live in a escalator world where you didn't have to walk anywhere because the escalators would take you.

 At the children's museum there is this series of vacuum tubes.
