November 2018 Egypt

Giza is HUGE. Egypt was amazing and crazy.  So I took a million photos and put about half up here on the blog. It is different than anywhere else I have ever been.  The middle east is crazy.

 Look how small those people are next to the pyramid.

It is almost as tall as the Seattle Space Needle.

 They pyramids were built thousands of years ago.  Like 2500 BC. old.  it makes Europe feel young.  How crazy is that?

There are donkeys everywhere.

Sometimes you are an American and people just want to take their picture with you.

 Scarlett was super jazzed about riding a camel.  It is hard to see little Rex because she was so distraught.

Look at these super cool carvings from the inside of Saqqara.  It was very detailed.  Going in we walked down this little tunnel bent in half we walked down a plank.

We hired a boat to sail us around the Nile.

 There was a funeral and they still let us in.

 This church has a basement where Jesus stayed for 3 months on his way back to Israel.

 The structures over there "the city of the dead" are built on top of a cemetery with crypts and stretches for 4 miles.
