Epic Utah Trip - Part 1 - Arrival and Wilsons

Every Epic Trip is destined to be followed up by a Epic Blog Post.
....and here we go on our Utah Trip series.

We were greeted at the Frankfurt Airport by our favorite German scientist

Waiting for the first flight from Frankfurt

.
Waiting at LAX for our second flight

12 hours and counting

Ike being super good optimistic and positive.

14 hours into the trip

Utah at last! Chloe and mini-Chloe, her cousin L

"Cousins," the best part of the trip according to Rex.

Mornings in Wildwood

Enter stage right, The Wilson's

Then we braved the July heat and visited Goblin Valley, we loved this place
and it's been way to long since our last visit.

Ike's faces

Then we headed to Arches Nation Park. One of our other favorite places with
some of our favorite people

 Ike's jazzed

Still jazzed, (after an undocumented grumpy break)

Look at how much Chloe has grown since our last visit to Arches.
😍

Hiking Champion

 Forcing a...something face.

Strong Arms

Ike found this rock that seemed his size, struck a pose, and
asked me to take a picture

Jill's the most attractive tourist ever!

Ike's aggressively eating of gluten free noddles

"Trip" to Bridal Veil Falls
More of Ike's many faces

Ike refusing to be left behind.

Crazy 4th of July dragon.

While driving to the cemetery, Ike asked if we were going to
"dig dig dig, and find her (Schuyler) dead?"
It seems like a morbid question, but he asked it with sincere curiosity

At the cemetery Ike proclaimed, "it would be more fun if we could dig."
He's an awkwardly funny dude.

Chloe and Ester

Chloe finding a tiger and making sure everyone is excited about it.

Ike loving the seals...or is it a walrus?

These two Quackers feeding the ducks

Seriously, our kids found another family feeding the ducks. Without shame
they kept asking for slices of bread and feed the ducks with them.

Chloe watching the Spider-Verse movie. I guess it's intense.

It was so great to see the Wilson's, they have meant so much to us over the years.
