June 19, 2016 Ike's first movie, pop sickles, dad day

And they are out. It was fun having the Horner girls visit. They were wonderful house guests.

My friend Becky is celiac so we made a her a watermelon cake. It was good.

Mike got sick so he stayed an extra day! It was sad but we enjoyed his company regardless.

We went to the movies.

Ike rocked it like a boss. It was 3D and in the opening credits a snake tongue stuck out at us and he flipped out and we had some consoling to do. He was ok and watched most of the movie, but the last 15 min. wandered on the stairs.

Fun with friends. We just love the Olsen family. We are so glad they are close.

I love it when Chloe takes selfies. These twins, I mean siblings are so cute. Plus, I just adores Chloe.

Ike LOVES pop-sickles. He can even say pop-sickles. He eats a ton every day. Good thing I just make them with fruit. Then we are both happy.

Happy Father's day to Mike. You are not here with us, again. We know you are working hard for our family. You are missed and loved much.

June 12, 2016 Family Circus

That face... He is getting so old. He is into everything. He is independent. He is a joy.

Mike was gone and I was deeeply engrossed in a project...until I heard a noise. It sounded like a bird flying in my kitchen. Well it wasn't a bird it was this HUGE bug. It totally freaked me out.

And the hands go up!

Who has two thumbs and is awesome...this guy. I don't remember what he was talking about, but this is the gesture he made to referrer to himself.

Keeping it classy.

While cleaning I found this picture of Lindsey and I . It is from a trip we took that was one of the first times I hung out with Mike. It was a fun trip to arches. I am so thankful for Lindsey. From day one she has been there laughing with me, eating cake with our bare hands (don't just dig in it will hurt your fingers.), working, playing, eating, playing, eating cake batter, playing, and being there when things get rough.

We have been praying for our little niece. She has been super sick and we just love here. It was so fun to get a message back from her. She is such a fighter and inspiration. We are thankful for miracles, love and prayer.

Ike was sick and hot so I gave him a pop-sickle. Even though he is SO sick he is SO happy.

Look at the looks of the faces on these children. This is what happens when you take them to a circus. Not a modern day nice to animals and people circus, but an old-school lets throw knives a women circus.

June 5, 2016 Sick selfies, jumping frogs and mike is still gone for his birthday.

Chloe has found Mike's Calvin and Hobbs books. She is loving reading them. As she talks about them she often refers to them as "Calvin and Hobbles."

I saw a meme that said "I wish my teeth were as white as my dance moves". I told Mike that was a real desire for me. He replied, "you have as many dance moves as a hillbilly has teeth."
