December 4, 2011 Reading Time

Chloe was on the phone with my mom this week.  She was telling her about Grandma and Grandpa's visit.  Interestingly enough she chose to share the story about Grandpa.  She said "Yeah, Grandpa doesn't have any hair on the top of his head.  One day he had a long think and it all got burned off."

I have been very honest with Chloe and told her there is no Santa it is just pretend.  A long time ago there was a man named St. Nick and he was very generous and gave toys to the children who didn't have any, so people carry on his generosity and still give presents today.  Well, she was driving up to Seattle to meet Dri and I for lunch and saw a man dressed as Santa driving an old beat up Toyota.  She told Mike she was so excited to see me to tell me Santa is REAL!  She saw him.

Mikes goes to find Rex we hadn't seen him for a few minuets.  He finds Rex in his room putting his bear to bed.  Then he grabs his puppy and adds him in bed.  He then gives each animal a water cup, kisses them on the head, and then he tells them "nigh-night." Mike asked, "what about a blanket?"  Rex grabs a blanket and unceremoniously chucks it on top of his animals, shuts the door, and says, "nigh-night."

The Mt. Bake show is over and the winery show continues the next two Saturdays noon-5pm at the Eight Bells Winery.
