March 2018 cruise

On the cruise the kids loved the food.  Rex ate a million hamburgers and a lot of croissant and treats.

There was this grand sparkly stair case so the kids all loved that.

I mean who doesn't love some sparkle.

We got to go out and see cool cities I had never planned on before.  Genoa was beautiful.

We found cool statues. I know this might come as a bit of a shock, but I am a bit of a spaz.

I am also nudging my kids in that direction.

The ceilings here are crazy.  That is a lot of work.

Old stuff.

I love clock towers everywhere.

The city is on a  hill and super cool.

 Walking up to Castello d'Albertis

We found fish and Rex has an excellent fish face.

We found city walls and palm trees.

Castello d'Albertis

This is a cool fountain down town.

Cool old buildings.

We got back to the ship and Chloe was so excited to do the ropes course they had on top.

Rex, Ike and I went swimming. I got cold.

And wasn't as jazzed about swimming.

So we went to the in door pool.  Come to find out they keep the water clean with salt.  A lot of salt.  Ike's skin was irritated because they gave us food that wasn't dairy free and his skin hurt and was like this again after about 10 seconds.

Rex had fun.

Chloe loved it.

Ike was cool when he got out of the water and showered off.

After dinner sunset.  I went to put Ike to bed and looked out the window.  Bam!

We both enjoyed the beauty laid down and I listened to a great book.

Rome.  We went to port and had to take a train.

Ike and the fire statue

Ike has been loving him some grandpa.  He follows him around and asks him if he will do stuff with him.

The Vatican.

 St. Peters

 It was a little bright.

 We walked all over Rome.

Tivoli fountain

So many people.  But we had fun and it was gorgeous.

Colosseum

Sorry Tyler family we don't have to come visit you anymore we found the pyramids in Rome.

Pinocchio Rex

Pinocchio Chloe

Ike was loving he got bread.

After you eat so much sometimes you need to work off your food.

Raww.

 Ike with butter.

Chloe piled mile high her waffle with whipping cream.

 Palermo Sicily

 Lots of naked sautes.

Charlie enjoying the view.  Just kidding Mike waited until Charlie looked over at Nedra and where we were standing it make him look like a creeper.

They have a street with these facades that are on five sides.

 Cathedral.

Mike and his parents went on the roof and it was gorgeous.

While we were out in town Chloe made this lego person at kids club and loved it.

 Cookies.

Leaving Palermo.

 Pulling into Malta.

It was gorgeous.

We went for a horse drawn carriage ride.  Chloe was pleased to say the least.

Yes that is Mike peeking through.

Charlie and Chloe.

They had all this great street art.  Who doesn't want to see a flying donkey.

Off we go.

Attack.

Those who will put themselves between the onion and the skin will be marked by its odor.  I loved all the cautionary signs that went with the street art.

Cool new building.

More art

Fountain.

The city gates.

I forgot the cautionary tail with this one but they are cats Chloe couldn't pass it up.

Malta was gorgeous.

The sunsets on the boat were awesome.

Barcelona

 Sagrada Família
This Cathedral is the most schizophrenic building I have ever seen.  It has every shape and theme stuck on.  There is fruit, gargoyles, people and everything. There is every shape window, every shape everything.  There is fruit on the top.  It is built from donations and still not done.

 Barcelona

Good street art.

On the cruise they started getting ready for Easter.

Chocolate octopus.

 Moon rise

Sunrise.

Ike pissed as we were leaving the cruise.  I was a little miffed to be leaving a place that toted my butt around and gave me food whenever I wanted.
